 How does an adult go about getting their first job? (Career Development)     May 11, 2010 11:48 AM

What would be a good job for a 26 year old who has no work or volunteer experience? How does an adult with no experience even go about getting a first job? Also this 26 year old doesn't use phones and doesn't leave the house (because of social anxiety disorder). Help, please.

Perhaps you could start volunteering for something you have an interest in?

Also maybe you could do some babysitting? Or something simple like working at your local supermarket or waitressing perhaps?
